The Center for Learner Equity (CLE) is a nonprofit organization committed to dismantling systemic barriers and advancing educational opportunity for students with disabilities. Through research, policy advocacy, and partnerships, they work to build more inclusive and equitable learning environments nationwide.

Challenges

The organization needed a visually compelling and accessible report to present new research titled, “Shifting the Tide: Exploring Centralization of Services for Students with Disabilities in New Orleans.” The report had to convey complex data sets and policy insights in a clear, engaging format suitable for both print and web.

Solutions

Square Lightning designed an initial set of 10 sample pages, featuring pull quotes, data visualizations, and visual hierarchies to enhance readability and impact. After gathering client feedback, we expanded the report into a polished, magazine-style layout, carefully formatted for accessibility and clarity across digital and print platforms.

Outcomes

The final report enabled the Center for Learner Equity to share crucial findings in a powerful, professional format, supporting its mission to advocate for more inclusive education systems. The design helped elevate the visibility of their research among policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in the disability rights community.
